I worked with Liza and her incredible hair/makeup team for my wedding and could not have been happier with the results! I had done two trials with different companies and never felt like myself. Minutes into my trial with Liza I was so much more confident and comfortable and left feeling like she had truly amplified my natural beauty. On the wedding day, Liza and her team brought a calm comfort to both me and my bridal party. Everyone looked spectacular and the hair & makeup stayed flawless throughout the long day/night. Liza’s products were tailored to my skin and felt natural and light. When I wasn’t sure about what hairstyle to do for the rehearsal dinner, we looked through inspiration together and what she pulled off was far better than anything we had seen. I’ve already been sending brides her way and will keep suggesting to anyone who cares to listen. Her & her team’s work was beautiful and their personalities are exactly what you need for your wedding or before an event.

Liza did my hair and makeup for the wedding and she is not just an artist, she creates magic!!! My hair doesn’t hold curls and she did everything to make sure I do not worry a single bit on the special day and I didn’t! She created the most perfect makeup with every element that I asked for. My hair was perfect and my makeup left everyone stunned. I wouldn’t trust anyone else but her on any special day but specially on a wedding day! She IS the beauty icon ♥️♥️♥️

I don't have the words to express my gratitude towards the Beauty Icon team and especially Liza. From the beginning, everything was so easy and effortless. Liza along with her team were so organized, so professional, but also so human. Their kindness and professionalism is truly a gift. A gift in which I will never forget and had the privilege of experiencing on the days leading up to the most special day of my life and on the day itself. Evgenia was incredible and so kind with my mother, mother in law, grandma, and sister in laws. Liza's talent and skills are like no other. I had such a great experience with the Beauty Icon team from start to finish. From my initial inquiry to my wedding day, everything felt easy and well thought out. I was having a hard time finding a bridal hair and makeup artist I felt comfortable with and that fit my budget, but Beauty Icon NYC truly delivered. The team set me up with a call with the founder, Liza, who took the time to understand my hair and makeup inspo and matched me with the perfect artist. Aliya did both my hair and makeup, and I absolutely loved it. I felt like myself—just elevated and bridal. Even though I didn’t do a trial, I met with Aliya virtually beforehand and she was amazing. She really listened to my concerns and shared helpful expertise, which made me feel confident going into the big day. I highly recommend Beauty Icon NYC and especially Aliya!

I would give Beauty Icon 10 stars if I could! Anna P did my makeup and did an absolutely amazing job. My makeup turned out even better than I expected, and she followed my vision perfectly. You can truly tell how much experience and skill she has, and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. This was my first time getting my hair and makeup done for an event, and Anna was so welcoming, kind, and made the entire experience wonderful. Ermira did my hair and she was just as amazing. I had never done an updo for an event before, so I was a little nervous, but it turned out flawless—perfectly tousled and undone while still feeling secure and neat. She was so friendly and easy to work with, and truly brought my vision to life. I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. I can’t recommend Beauty Icon, and Anna and Ermira, enough 😊

I found Beauty Icon on instagram and was already tired of my search to find makeup artists and hair stylists because many seems old fashioned to me. I was looking for a fun and soft look, something more natural with a glow and was scared to look too done up and not like myself. Paulina and Liz were exactly the artists&stylists I was looking for. They were so pleasant to work with and this is so important during the madness of wedding planning. -They were flexible in their arrival time which made the wedding day flow so much better. -My mom, mother-in-law and granda felt and looked so gorgeous and elegant. -My younger sister looked beautiful, the makeup and products that were used kept her looking fresh and were not heavy at all on her skin. -I had a very specific "natural but with a glow" look I was going for, and Paulina made sure I was loving it every step of the way (giving me the mirror, stopping and making sure I am happy). She put flowers in my hair, and when I looked in the mirror it was just perfect. Thank you so so much! <3.

My experience with Beauty Icon NYC was outstanding. My wedding was planned in three weeks due to family health issues. I'm sure as you can imagine, finding vendors in that little of time was a bit of a challenge. However, Beauty Icon came through big time! They were able to get me a makeup trial and then do even better the day of the wedding. My artist was insanely fun to work with as her personality is both professional and up to date. Meaning that she is very relatable with everyone in the room and there was always a good laugh going on.

A huge thank you to Beauty Icon, and especially to our incredible hair and makeup artists, Dasha and Julia. From the moment they arrived, they created such a calm, fun, and relaxed atmosphere, making the whole morning even more special. They made me and all of the girls look and feel absolutely beautiful. They really listened to what each of us wanted, creating looks that enhanced our natural features while lasting perfectly throughout the entire day and night. We all felt so confident and received so many compliments. Dasha and Julia are incredibly talented, professional, and such a joy to spend the morning with. We couldn't have asked for a better team to help us get ready for such an important day. Thank you both for making us feel our absolute best—we would recommend Beauty Icon without hesitation!

One of the best decisions I made was booking Liza Ray and her Beauty Icon team for my wedding! Liza made me feel like an absolute celebrity. The quality of work is amazing. I feel lucky to have found her!! Not to mention Liza is so so sweet and down to earth and made sure I loved my look from the trial to the wedding day. My bridesmaids felt like they got the A-list treatment from the BeautyIcon team and they all looked stunning!! Would 1000% recommend to all my friends! My bridesmaid literally booked Liza for her wedding next Fall while she was doing her hair and makeup. Need I say more???

Beauty Icon has my absolute highest praise! A group of 6 of us came to NYC to receive a Tony award for best regional theatre and needed to be on-camera glam. Communication was terrific with the team and we had less than a week to arrange details. Email replies were prompt and pricing was laid out in the most cost effective way for our needs. They paired us with Anastasia for Makeup and Nina for Hair and we were completely blown away by their skill, professionalism, and unique ability to listen to each of us and bring out everyone's most beautiful selves! We felt listened to and pampered and the room was so fun and was full of squeals when each new look was revealed. We had a full very hot day and stayed camera ready for 8+ hours! I can't imagine doing it without them and they are worth every penny of the fee. Also as all of us are over 50 and don't really get dressed up very much, let alone red carpet ready it was such a joy to have the encouragement and support of these two terrific professionals. And we all looked GREAT! Thank you Beauty Icon and Anastasia and Nina for making our very special day so beautiful.
