About Liza
Liza Ray is the founder and creative force behind Beauty Icon NYC. A makeup artist and hairstylist with years of experience in the beauty industry, she has also served as a lead educator at one of New York's premier makeup schools — training other artists while continuing to sharpen her own craft. For Liza, beauty has never been just about the finished look. She built her career on listening closely to every client, tailoring each makeup application and hairstyle to their individual features, and helping them feel confident from the inside out — not just polished on the outside. That same philosophy now runs through the entire Beauty Icon NYC team, nearly 50 hand-picked artists strong. Today, Liza leads with the same care she brought to her very first client: the belief that every bride deserves to look — and feel — like the best version of herself.
