What’s the best place to start?
Before coming to your trial or when thinking about your bridal look, it’s always so helpful to find wedding inspiration photos. If you don’t know where to search for the best look – we created a list of sources you should use!
1. Number one of all times is pinterest. You can always search for “wedding makeup”, “bridal makeup”, “natural makeup” for you makeup inspiration or you can even be more specific and clarify some details such as “makeup for green eyes”, “wedding look for dark complexion”, etc. When it comes for hair try to be a little more specific as well – “sleek updo”, “textured updo”, “hollywood waves” or “romantic wedding hairstyles”. I It’s very helpful to refer to something that is similar to your features. For example look for updos on darker hair if you have dark hair. In case you have no idea what you like just type in “wedding hair” , “bridal hair inspo” , “wedding updos” , “wedding hair down” and see what your eye will be drown to.
2. Instagram has become an endless source of wedding hair and makeup inspiration. Moreover, it’s algorithm suggest things that we tend to like! Use hashtags to find specific images: #weddingmakeupinspiration, #bridalmakeup or #bridalhair. You can also always follow pages that specialize in wedding topics and always share trends and inspiration. We highly recommend to carefully check your makeup artist/stylist portfolio to make sure they have the looks you are interested in!
3. If you are still in love with paper publications – take a stroll to your closest book store and grab some wedding magazines! Besides finding inspiration, you will also find a lot of helpful information about wedding planning, trends and more!
4. Wedding blogs are also a great source! There are numerous wedding related blogs filled with endless amount of blog posts with any topic. Our top choices are: theknot.com, caratsandcake.net, stylemepretty.com, 100layercake.com, weddingchicks.com.
